Shirley Sparks is a Finnish vocalist who has a wealth of experience in music and entertainment industry.
Her previous repertoire as a high soprano included a wide range of opera and classical music from early to contemporary and numerous stage roles however eventually she realized her passion for American Classic Jazz and Traditional Popular music and since 2015 has specialized in this particular genre. She has performed with jazz musicians and bands in Finland and the UK.
Shirley Sparks has graduated as Bachelor of Arts and Culture/vocals pedagogue at the Helsinki Metropolia Polytechnic and Master of Arts in Music, History and Culture at the Oxford Brookes University. Along her singing career she has worked as a voice artist and composed music for short films and theatre. Nowadays she also composes Classic Jazz songs that can often be heard in her concerts. Shirley's performing experience of 30 years includes also working as an actress in short films and theatre.
